Regifting Rules

The Rules for Regifting

1.  The gift is new - this isn't a donation, it's a gift.

2.  The person will enjoy the gift.

3. Big or small, it should match what you would have spent.

4.  Wrap the gift and make it personal.

5.  You already have the right gift and it's perfect for your friend/family, but you will keep it in a box to maybe use it "someday. "

6.  If you need to save money, but you still want to give a gift. You should never go into credit card debt for Christmas gifts.  No true friend would want you to stress yourself out for a present.  Christmas/ Holidays should be about spending time with your friends and family. If you are stuck at work paying for the gift, you aren't spending time with them.

7. Time, in my opinion, is the best gift of all.   If you don't have a gift to give, don't worry just say Happy Holidays  :) and offer to have a potluck for all of your friends or meet for coffee one day.

8. White Elephant Gift parties are great for regifting.  A large group of people bring one gift and either steal the gift or stay with their chosen gift.

8. Enjoy the holiday season

 Happy Holidays!
