I'm writing this from my hotel room in San Antonio, Texas. I'm giving tips and tricks about packing and what I should have left at home (while I'm still on the road)
1.
Mistake: I brought two small purses (one evening, one crossbod) and I only needed one. Next time I'm only bringing my medium purse which I bring on planes and my small evening bag. I have used all three this trip, but either small purse would have worked just fine.
2.
Success: I love having my lightweight black trench. It's great for this 50 degree weather and it went over my semi formal dress very well. My boyfriend and I went to Bliss and the food was AMAZING!
3.
Mistake: I only needed one sweatshirt, not two. I would only bring one sweatshirt that is really warm and one lightweight cardigan that is formal. It gets cold at night here (It is still Winter) ☹
4.
LOVE! I brought an iphone external charger. BRING ONE! Where did all the outlets go at conventions and hotel rooms?
5.
LOVE! Finally, bring a medium sized purse with pockets on the side so you can find your wallet and phone easily. I bring a lot of stuff with me when I'm at a convention all day but I need to be able to find my phone quickly. Different sized pockets are key. I like pockets that are inside and in the lining of the purse. A zipper makes it even better when traveling. A medium sized purse gives you the room to put the free swag you want, but a a large purse lets you take everything. Then you are carrying around stuff you don't even want just because you can. It will get way too heavy. This will not make for a good day.
If you have any more tips, please comment and thanks for reading☺
