So I've been trying to go green for a few months now and it's hard.
Like today I bought a new Fitbit and felt bad.
Not because I couldn't afford it (which is another guilt all together) but because I wasn't fixing my old watch that that was broken. I could have fixed it but I really wanted a watch with a heart rate monitor - which the Fitbit had.
So what is right? Getting something that will add value to my life and (even though I will bring the older watch to goodwill someday, not soon cause I need a watch to use on my runs) potentially send another watch to the landfill or keeping an old watch that does the job but yet wanting something else?
I wish I could know that my old watch was being properly recycled. It would make me feel better about buying new items.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to recycle better, without causing me to lose tons of time?
