Fashion is a Collection of Votes

Fashion isn't one piece x how many pieces you have in a collection.  Fashion is a unit, a collection all working together to show your style.

Your stuff tells the world who you are.  Clothing is one way someone expresses their vision because we have to wear clothes.  Even if you think a piece doesn't tell your story because you don't care what you wear, that still is a choice. Whatever you do choose is a choice.

If you don't think an item fits your vision on who you want to be anymore, get rid of it. If you wear an item again and again, how can you say this piece isn't who you are.  Also, you don't have to be just 1 style. You can choose multiple styles. Even a uniform, you are choosing to be part of the displayed group.  Anywhere you spend your time is part of who you are.  You vote with your money and your time.  Each piece I own should have been thought about and voted on.

Spring cleaning is a good time to think about our presentation and starting new.  I'm bringing stuff to Goodwill because my past self isn't the same as who I am currently. I have lots of stuff I don't need.  Each day is new and I have choices to make.
