DCFABB Event: Violet Boutique

I went to a DCFABB event at Violet Boutique last night. I met some new people and loved all the clothes/accessories that were at the shop (see below).  It was a great time and can't wait until the next DCFABB event.

Event: Cherry Blossom Festival

I went into DC yesterday afternoon for the Cherry Blossom Festival. The trees were in full bloom and amazing to see. Even though the weather was chilly, it was a good day in the city. 

Washington DC

I went into DC last night to see A Girl's Guide to Washington Politics performed by Chicago's comedy troupe The Second City. I enjoyed the show at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre, especially when the performers interacted with the audience.  The five member cast was talented and most of the sketches were fast paced and entertaining. Last year, I saw The Second City perform BARACK STARS: THE WRATH OF RAHM and hope the group returns to DC next year.
